Terms & Conditions
The terms you agree to when you create an account or send requests through the TokWork API.
1. The service
TokWork is a gateway that forwards requests to third-party model providers. We route, meter and bill the traffic. We are not the provider of the underlying models, and the models remain subject to the upstream provider's terms.
2. Accounts and API keys
You are responsible for keeping your API keys secret and for all traffic sent with them. Tell us immediately if a key is exposed so we can revoke it. You must be old enough to enter a contract in your jurisdiction.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- break any law, or infringe anyone's rights;
- generate content that the upstream provider forbids;
- attempt to bypass rate limits, billing, or the security of the platform;
- resell access in a way that misrepresents the service.
We may suspend or terminate an account that threatens the stability of the service or breaches these terms.
4. Billing
Usage is metered per request by input and output tokens and charged against your prepaid balance at the rates published on the pricing page at the time of the request. Prices may change; we will publish changes before they take effect.
Charges for usage already delivered are not refundable, including when a request fails upstream after it was forwarded. Unused balance may be refunded on request subject to the payment provider's fees.
5. Availability
We work to keep the gateway available and to route around failing upstream channels, but the service is provided on an "as available" basis and depends on third parties we do not control. Any availability commitment we sell separately is governed by that agreement.
6. Data
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced on this page with a new effective date, and continuing to use the service after that date means you accept them.
